Against all probability, here is my first burlesque solo of the year. Also a debut performance for this dance, albeit only in appropriately socially-distanced music video form. A huge thank you to Jason “Flapsandwich” Philips (musician, producer, writer) and Clusterfuck for getting me on board with this – I really needed that bit of performance time. Also big thanks to Little Man Coffee (Cardiff) for letting us abuse the railway arch in their back garden when the original location let us down.
My inspiration for this was the Fate Atropos cutting the thread of life, though I’m not sure if this comes across as obviously as I’d hoped. As an excuse for going freaky and cutting my clothes off outdoors, though, I think it served its purpose …
